About the Cottage
Relax in a modern grade II listed cottage surrounded by national trust land and only a short walk to the beach. The cottage has been fully modernised with a lovely patio area overlooking the countryside. The cottage is a short walk from Hive beach cafe and two great pubs in the village. It is truly a magical place.

Amazing cottage, home away from home. The cottage is in a great location perfect to explore the rest of Dorset. The cottage decor and finishes is absolutely amazing, very cosy, brand new and super clean. It’s great that beautiful walks start right outside the cottage. Nicky is very friendly and helpful leaving us with great recommendations for food and walks. I’ll definitely come back !

We had a wonderful stay in Pear tree cottage ! So much so I did not want to leave ! Beautiful interior , very well equipped and super cosy and comfortable . Great walks right from the cottages doorstep . Walkable places to eat near by ! Nicky was super responsive and helpful as can be ! We will be back !

Cottage was lovely. Nice welcome pack. Felt at home. Close to the beach and great places to visit. The 3 horseshoes pub around the corner & the Hive Beach cafe served up delicious food. Nicky was a great host. Would highly recommend

Pear tree cottage was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We had a lovely peaceful week. The garden is beautifully landscaped and lovely to relax in. Lovely touches such as a gas bbq and an air fryer. Would thoroughly recommend.

🚗 Is parking available?
Yes, there is on-road parking opposite the cottage. The road is a quiet no-through-road, and Pear Tree Cottage is at the end.
🐾 Are pets allowed?
Absolutely! We welcome a maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs.
👶 Are children allowed?
Of course! The cottage is family-friendly and we provide a travel cot and high chair upon request. Although it should be noted the garden is multi-level with steps and no rails.
🕒 What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is from 3pm, and check-out is by 10am.
